Case 28 Answer
This week was a case of PCP (or now known as PJP) pneumonia.
Note the characteristic perihilar, symmetric reticular infiltrates (resembling non-cardiogenic edema). This was confirmed at bronchoscopy
Don’t forget that PCP pneumonia can have a NEGATIVE chest X-ray in 10-40% of patients. (as can ANY pneumonia!)
